Sadly, LugRadio has passed on. The guys declared in “More on that later” that they wanted to leave on a high note. I think they certainly did.
On Subscribed, they explained why they had subscribed to TWiT and the TWiT network… and why they were no longer subscribed. Oddly enough, the reasons that they quit and the reasons that they considered staying are pretty much polar opposite of what I look for in podcasts and yet, somehow, they quit TWiT (sorry, just love the way that sounds) and I am and have been very close to quitting for quite some time now.
If it were possible for me to make that any more cumbersome and unclear, please let me know.
For some reason, Zune keeps feedbarfing episode 4 of the Takeover at me. I’ve listened to that particular episode about four times now. And as I tweeted early today, “I *love* the happy “whoo” at the end…” It’s a silly and funny diversion. “Bigot.”
Movie Mantras, by the same guy who says “whoo”, is a short and amusing trip… that is somewhat marred by being 85% intro/outro. If I was able to make releasedate based podcast playlists for Zune, I would listen to Movie Mantras in a timely fashion one at a time. Instead, they pile up until I have half a dozen or so to listen to at once. And when that happens, it gets … pendantic. My fault, not his. Or rather, Zune’s fault.
MobileTechRoundup – it’s like Engadget Mobile, but better! Because it is a podcast and it has personality to go with the awesome tech. w00t!
And Knightcast. Deceased to me. I’m sure it is interesting to someone, but the length and the great amount of “I don’t care” have added up. I’ve only listened to three episodes, but this is one where the podcast sorely, desperately needs a co-host. Or three. Knightwise seems like a pretty interesting dude, just not for an hour straight.
