I think it says Everard on the front piece. One of the local Salvation Army stores has it for, I think, $40 but it needs a lot of loving care. Almost all of the keys have damage to the ivory.

You make a lot of sense calling the eversion of books disposable (more disposable than books) That clicked with me because it made so much sense. $15 for an ebook version is a ridiculous price.

Actually, I'm a little bit confused on the game creator part. I could have sworn that Jim said that Shreyas made it. But on poking around, I find Elizabeth and Shreyas are Two Scooters and both have been around and around the internet block. I'm not sure where to link to for either one of them, though SummerBird seems to be the most recent incarnation.

I may be confusing Wells’ Invisible Man with a later rendition, but I remember that as being all about how the guy’s character was changed by being liberated from the consequences of his actions.

I’ll have to “schedule” Foundation re-read at some point. I simply don’t remember enough to comment.

I suppose you could say that my opinion is that a story isn’t interesting when it is the written equivalent of a Bay summer movie. All the explosions in the world aren’t going to save it. (Take the recent Wolverine, for example.) A crap story is crap no matter what category it supposedly falls into.

I cannot think of a single interesting story in any genre, including literature, that is good AND is not character based.

You might want to look at science fiction from, say, H.G. Wells’ or Asimov’s time. And early fantasy, too.

Ummm – I won’t tell you how much time I use to produce my one hour show. Let’s just say – I am jealous of those 12 hours you have. (I put in a minimum 2-3 hours a day)…
