Day 10 of NaNoWriMo

Shortly after midnight on the 10th of November, Mike Plested has 25022 words on his NaNoWriMo, Stackpole has 30726, and the insane Nathan Lowell has 38481.

I have 12749.

And despite that horrendous comparison, I am doing 100% better than I did last year.

  1. Keep up the great work. Those guys (with the exception of Nate – I am not sure he is human-) write for a living… Your job is to get the story down on the page. Keep plugging your gonna make it.

    • Well, to be fair, I don’t think Mike is a full-timer yet. I say yet because he is certainly pushing hard enough that I am sure he’ll make it soon enough.

      And! Thank you!

  2. You and I are about on par.  I didn’t write at all last night, sadly.  I plan on making some of that up today.

    • I like what you’re doing, publishing the text of your NaNo. It seems to be amazingly coherant too. I’m playing leap frog with my time line any time that I feel a little stuck. Sadly that leaves a really unreadable working rough.

  1. No trackbacks yet.
