3 hrs 52 min of podcastery goodness. My queue has finally fallen under a gig and with less than 23 hours, I’m starting to wonder if I will actually finally catch up on my year goal of getting my podcast addiction under control.

I follow too many people on Twitter. I think that maybe it was @breakall or that perhaps it was @choochus who posted a link to Alice and Kev. Either way, this is the story of two Sims 3 characters moved into a vacant lot and stripped of their goods.

I think that it is an interesting experiment in story-telling, game-play, and artificial-intelligence. I’m vaguely interested in finding out what will happen next. But 30 seconds in the comment section and I find myself vowing to destroy humanity and let nature pick out the next ascendent species.

I can never make up my mind if people just act stupider on the internet because of the faceless aspect of things, or if this is just how the vast majority of human beings really do think.

Or rather, do not think.

Yesterday Twitter sent me a message to let me know that they were temporarily disabling my updates. It seems that I had exceeded the 1000 SMS message a day limit.

Dude! Hahaha.

So between roughly 2:30pm and 5:00pm Eastern I did not get any tweets. That’s okay though because I had more than enough to keep me busy/engaged/not being productive for many many hours of happy distracted time.

And today, I remembered to turn OFF the SMS updates when I got home from work. I don’t want Twitter to get pissed off at me and make me go cold turkey. I get the shakes when I can’t have my Twitter fix.
