  • TSCC was interesting. What was up with the hand twitching at the very end? #
  • Back home after work. Feeling typically down after a normal day of not having enough time to get things done before getting kicked out. #
  • Off to bed while listening to Common Sense With Dan Carlin. I feel old, caring about politics. #

128 vs XP = *cry*

Here I sit, trying to type, watching my words get mangled as my poor ancient computer tries to keep up with my typing and deleting and typing some more.  I am running Windows XP on only 128megs of RAM, so I shouldn’t expect much, but… When all I have open is Netscape (only one tab opened) and Notepad++ (only two tabs opened), I tend to think that my experience should be limited by the wireless adapter and not the speed at which text renders in a box.

Anyhow, I thought that this was funny and that it was worth repeatingwtf/min  To find more like this, hit up the comics section of OS News.

Torvald says that the latest OS X is crap.  He doesn’t care for Vista either.  I don’t know if he’s right, but I do like the way he says it.

And finally, the fourth undersea internet cable leading to the middle east has been cut rendered unusable.  I’m torn on this one.  It could be possible that there was an earthquake in the area, a volcano perhaps, that is causing this mess, but I don’t feel like taking the time to do the research and find out.  Maybe it’s a big conspiracy of some sort.  Maybe someone has seen how internet access allowed news of the situation in Burma to get out earlier last year and now they are pro actively disabling internet access into the region before doing something scary.  Like Nuking Isreal, Iraq, Egypt, whatever.  Hopefully it’s something silly like a pissed off diver sending a message about how angry he is over his taxation.  But I really think it has to be Davy Jones cleaning out his house.
